These terms cover the Whale Igniter informational website. The software itself is distributed under the MIT License.

The short version Use the site lawfully. Verify software output before relying on it. The website is provided free of charge and without warranties.

1. Scope

These terms apply when you access this website. The site explains Whale Igniter and links to its npm package and related resources. It does not provide user accounts, paid services, file storage or a hosted AI service.

2. Open-source software

Whale Igniter software is licensed separately under the MIT License included with the package. Generated files belong to you, subject to any rights in third-party material you provide or choose to include.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the website for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass hosting controls, distribute malware or use the project name to misrepresent your relationship with Whale Igniter.

4. Your responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing generated files, commands and AI-assisted output before using them. Keep secrets out of prompts and project files you choose to send to an external provider.

5. Third-party services

GitHub hosts the website. npm distributes the package. Optional AI features can connect to Anthropic or OpenAI using credentials you provide. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and policies.

6. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or remove website content or software features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or continued compatibility with every tool, provider or platform.

7. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and software are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Whale Igniter contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the website or software.

The Privacy Policy explains data handling. For questions or corrections, open an issue in the public website repository. Remember that GitHub issues are public.
